On the second day of Travel Fest Albania, a dynamic workshop was held, drawing participation from the festival director Pandeli Ceco, along with Prof. Asoc. Dr. Belina Budini, Dean and Lecturer at the European University of Tirana, Ermir Nika, Head of the Department of Applied Arts, as well as other faculty members and students. The discussions centered around two crucial themes for aspiring filmmakers:

  1. Using Film to Advocate for Environmental Protection and Sustainable Tourism: The first part of the workshop explored how filmmakers can leverage the power of visual storytelling to raise awareness on environmental conservation and promote sustainable tourism practices. Students and professionals alike shared ideas on how travel films could foster change in how people perceive nature and their responsibility towards it.
  2. Creating Impactful Travel Films on a Budget: The second theme addressed the common challenge of low-budget filmmaking, particularly for emerging travel filmmakers. Participants discussed creative ways to make high-quality films with limited resources, focusing on innovative techniques and the importance of storytelling over expensive equipment.

The workshop provided an engaging platform for students to interact with industry professionals, offering practical insights and creative inspiration for future projects.
